MEGADETH To Perform At Inaugural 'Affliction: Banned' Event

According to MMAFighting.com, MEGADETH is slated to perform live Saturday, July 19 at the inaugural "Affliction: Banned" event from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

MEGADETH, one of the bands signed to the Affliction clothing line, has just completed a South American tour and is currently playing several shows in Mexico.

"Affliction: Banned" is headlined by a WAMMA championship bout between the last PRIDE heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko and former UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia. The main card will air live on pay-per-view, while the undercard will partially air on Fox Sports Net.

The third installment of the U.S. Gigantour the acclaimed traveling heavy music festival launched in 2005 by MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine wrapped May 22 in Phoenix, Arizona. The trek officially launched on April 12 in Denver, Colorado with headliner MEGADETH, Swedish metal band IN FLAMES, Finland's CHILDREN OF BODOM, Arizona's modern extreme act JOB FOR A COWBOY and Oakland, California heavy power trio HIGH ON FIRE.
